According to police data, between 75,000 and 80,000 people participated in the European Moldova" Assembly, held on Sunday in Chisinau.
The General Inspectorate of Police confirmed that no incidents or disturbances of public order were reported until noon.
Moldovan citizens gathered at the Great National Assembly Square in Chisinau to show their support for the Republic of Moldova's integration policy into the European Union. The initiative to organize the "European Moldova" Assembly was led by President Maia Sandu, who inaugurated the event. President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, also stood alongside her, delivering a strong message of encouragement and support for the Republic of Moldova's integration into the EU. The stage of the "European Moldova" Assembly also featured speeches from artists, entrepreneurs, teachers, and mayors.
